We are selling a lovely group of vintage Vogue Ginny dolls fresh from an avid local collector & doll store owner who kept them in original condition and most have her price tags on them.
Featuring here the oldest pair, adorable 8″ Toddle Twins, boy and girl in coordinating outfits of pink with blue trim. Composition, painted eyes, blond wig over slightly molded hair, full outfit including socks, shoes, caps. Overall very good condition with some expected wear to the clothing and the snaps are torn on her shoes, but mostly these display so well. Please look closely at the photos for details. We’re offering a wonderful group of over 90 vintage Peggy Nisbit England original dolls, fresh from avid collector. They’ve all been carefully stored on display & returned to original boxes.  Featuring here a wonderful commemorative set from 1977, Queen Elizabeth’s Silver Jubilee. Four dolls are in excellent nearly-new condition, inner andouter special edition boxes are in very good condition as well. Includes Model P415 Queen Elizabeth II in Formal Dress; P410 Prince Phillip Admiral of the Fleet;  H319 Royal Page, H328 Royal Herald in Court Dress with Royal Arms Tabard. Twin Vintage 1960’s Vinyl Dolls Lot 20-7 Eegee Baby Carrie Molded Hair Orig Boy 18″

TwinsCharming pair of vintage 1960’s Vinyl drink & wet baby dolls, marked 20-7 on the back of head. Possibly Eegee Baby Carrie or similar molded head dolls, dressed in matching boy type rompers.

  • Approx 18″, one has a slightly fuller face.
  • Their fingers and individual toes are so well done and very nice quality!
  • Sleep eyes, overall very good condition. One has some marks on legs and a few other spots as shown; other has paint wear to molded hair and a few lighter marks.
  • Both can use a bit of a bath but overall their face paint is terrific, and outfits are excellent.

This listing features a set of TWO very special dolls, designed by acclaimed French artist Nathalie Lete.  Her unique version of Hansel and Gretel, each in collector’s special case with clasp.  Boxes are substantial and interesting in their own right.

Andy Rooney Estate – Two Madame Alexander 1954 MARY ELLEN Companion Dolls 31″ Twin

We were fortunate to have participated in an estate sale at Andy Rooney’s Connecticut home a few weeks ago.  (scroll below for a picture of the house and the crowd waiting.)  This was a very special event, and gave us an opportunity to obtain some wonderful collectibles to bring to you, his loyal fans.

Rooney had 2 identical twin girls, born in 1950. At the estate sale they were offering the 2 companion PLAYPAL size dolls that each girl was given in 1954- 1955. This listing features Twin “A” doll – a Madame Alexander MARY ELLEN hard plastic 31″ large companion size walker.  Unusual MA walker doll, only offered for one year by Alexander.  Especially interesting because of the Rooney twins connection. 

Doll Details:

  • Hard plastic, rooted nylon hair, sleep eyes, very lovely mouth.
  • Face paint is excellent, overall condition very good with some scuff marks on paint as shown in photos.  Overall VERY clean, original hair style can use a little refreshing but still excellent.
  • Stringing is loose in legs and she cannot stand on her own; we are including a doll stand.
  • Outfit is not original MA but is 1950’s untagged and charming; bloomers & socks & shoes I believe are factory original. Includes a vintage ladybug pin for extra sweet detail that was placed on the top of the collar!  All clothing shows some wear (some tears on nylon socks) but the ensemble displays very nicely and is of the fifties.

The two dolls have been together for over 60 years; we have them listed separately, but it would be so excellent if bidders have interest in keeping them as a set.

The photo to the far left shows the entire group of 1920s – 1930s German & other European dolls, all in very good to excellent condition.

 The other picture is of one of the most unusual & interesting! A. BUCHERER and Cie Company patented metal ball-jointed” doll dating from 1920-11930s Fine Swiss technology allows for excellent articulation with finely tuned metal balls & sockets.
