Pictured here is a Vintage PC-1500A Pocket Computer with Printer, A/C Power Cord and Original Case. The printer and cassette interface – CE-150 – are included.
The whole computer was designed around the LH5801, an 8-bit CPU similar to the Zilog Z80, but all laid-out in power-saving CMOS circuits. The programming language was BASIC. Later German engineers cracked the system and also provided an assembler for the machine. Later even a C compiler followed. An external memory module slot was available. A cost-reduced redesign with more memory, the PC-1500A. Available in the connectibles ebay store.
