Wow, check out this video!  Another great find by “The Connectibles Treasure Hunters”.

We are SO excited to have found this remarkable original set of 1970’s AMSCO retro vintage TOY Kitchen appliances & cabinets, all stored in what I believe is a Salesman’s Wooden Custom Carrying case.

We thought about selling them individually, but honestly they are so compelling when viewed together that we decided to offer them all as one BIG lot! There are SEVEN assorted Amsco Plastic kitchen toy appliances, 1 bag of 32 pieces of accessories, and one custom vintage WOOD carrying case.

RETRO 1970’s battery operated plastic, they are BARBIE doll size and the display and play opportunities are endless! Antique Victorian Sea SHELL Art Mirror DRESSER Sailors

We’re delighted to have found an outstanding collection of antique Victorian seashell art that we discovered while treasure hunting on Martha’s Vineyard. If you love decorating with vintage “beach” memorabilia, these are one of the nicest additions you can add to your decor.

 From a charming turn-of-the-19th century seaside “Gingerbread cottage”, these gems are now available to be shared & admired again.  These are the nicest we’ve ever offered in terms of condition, assortment and design. Similar to “Sailor’s Valentines”, outstanding detail and patience required for these one of a kind hand-made pieces dating from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. 

Features here is one of the highlights of the collection.  A miniature “dresser” complete with mirror, “faux bois” painted sides, elaborately decorated. Remarkable detail down to the mock drawers & faux brass handles. Artist over 100 years ago took great care with the placement of the miniature shells and the overall artistic designs.  Intricate pattern. This is a Very special piece, especially with the details of the drawers (don’t open, faux design.) Excellent addition to a serious collection & display.  Available at Connectibles.

Whiting Davis antique Mesh Bag DRESDEN Gold Abstract

We’re delighted to have found a wonderful group of antique and vintage WHITING DAVIS mesh purses, catalogues and accessories fresh from the home of a former employee. This would be a terrific opportunity to add to your collection and display. Often featured in VOGUE magazine as stylish accessories for a glamorous night out, as they easily hold cell phone, credit cards, house key. Long a movie-star tradition, these purses were carried by the likes of Joan Crawford to Nicole Kidman!

The picture to the left is of the prettiest we found – a dazzling DRESDEN baby ring fine mesh bag with a “watercolor-like” abstract pattern.  Soft pastel floral expressionist pattern on gold links, gold frame. This style purse was chosen as first image on title page of “Whiting & Davis Purses – The Perfect Mesh”book by Pina.

We’re very excited to be offering a very special group of 1950’s Made in Japan Battery & Wind-Up vintage toys, fresh to market after being in storage for decades at the collector’s home. Quality ranges from “top of the line” new in boxes for discerning collectors, but also includes wonderful opportunities for the beginning Toy collector as well.  VERY entertaining, delightful collectibles sure to make young & “young at heart” smile!

We’ve tested them all, and condition is as noted.  Many have video’s to show you the working condition as we know that’s so important.

This is a “CRAGSTAN CRAPSHOOTER” in it’s original box, battery operated 1950’s “Made in Japan.” It’s in as new condition, clean & bright & works beautifully. Outstanding version of this popular toy.Box shows light wear.  9-1/2″ tall.  Realistic Actions are:

WPA LE signed Prints Jacob Kainen & Saul Kovner

We are featuring a group of WPA Prints that are quite exceptional. From our own personal MUSEUM quality collection, we are downsizing and able to offer a select group of these historical works of art. These are guaranteed authentic 1930’s works of art, NOT modern reproductions. All are from the New York City Graphic Arts Division and provide a unique opportunity to own both a striking work of art AND a true piece of United States “history.”

Two are pictured here, one a SIGNED ORIGINAL 1940s lithograph print by artist SAUL KOVNER, (American 1904-1982) titled “Skaters, Crotona Park.”  Terrific winter scene of the famous Bronx New York park.  Signed , inscribed in graphite center & lower right. For an extra whimsical touch, SAUL included his name & date on a sign IN the actual print.  The other is a SIGNED ORIGINAL 1930’s lithograph print by artist JACOB KAINEN, (American 1909-2001) titled “CONVALESCENT.”   Signed and titled, Federal Art Project NYC WPA stamp on lower left.

Jacob Kainen worked for the NYC FAP from 1935-1942. He became a print-maker, curator of the Smithsonian’s collection of graphic arts, and a collector of prints, particularly those of German expressionists. During the 1930’s he became a social realist & influential member of the NY Graphics Arts division; After WWII he moved to the Washington, DC area & assumed a leadership role in the arts community. Later work became primarily abstract.

Belt Buckle Vintage Beer PABST BREWING Brass Name Plate

We have acquired a terrific collection of vintage and recent Beer theme BELT BUCKLES, fresh from a large BREWERIANA collection. All are in VERY good to Excellent condition.  Pictured to the left is a vintage  “PABST Brewing Company Milwaukee WIS”  brass buckle.  “Age Purity Strength since 1844.”

  • This buckle measures 3″ x 2-1/2″ for buckle, ring portion is 1-7/8″.

Based on design from name plate on Brew Kettle in use for 100 years and is in excellent condition.  We have over 50 buckles that will featured over the next several weeks.  These buckles represent many of the old and famous breweries.  See them all at connectibles.

PULLIP Taeyang NOSFERATU doll

Love big-eye Japanese fashion dolls like Blythe? The Pullip dolls by Jun Planning are not as well known, but they have a very strong Japanese style to them, and they evoke the very popular Blythe doll – sort of a Blythe granddaughter!
This is a special 14″ tall PULLIP Taeyang NOSFERATU doll from the new Gothic Horror Vampire World offered by Groove.  Long silver gray hair, removable vampire fangs. Luxurious coat, bright blue eyes. Fully assembled, dressed & wigged as shown.

Taeyang is Pullip’s boyfriend and older brother of Dal. Always cool, handsome, fully articulated, eyes that move back & forth and wink.  We have several other Pullip Vampire Dolls available at connectibles.
