1953 Madame Alexander Glamour Girl Maggie 18″ Walker Doll ALL ORIG Beauty

1953 M.A. 2

We are delighted to be offering a very hard to find 1953 Madame Alexander Maggie face Glamour Girl 18″ walker doll, # 2010C. She is a true beauty, with only issue being the areas of her body that have been exposed (arms, neck, chest) have faded from original color as shown in photos, so her coloring is uneven. Taffeta skirt has a few small spots, otherwise dress is excellent..

  • Hair is nearly factory-new, walker mechanism is excellent, tiny red speck on chin that I did not try to remove.
  • Flowers on hat and waist are excellent, not flattened. Just beautiful.
  • Outfit includes: Tagged pink tafetta gown with black velvet bodice, net hat with silk flowers, hoop petticoat with attached bloomers, nylons and shoes – all original.

Hoop itself is somewhat out of round but I did not try to straighten. Black veil was found with her; I do not know if it original but will be included. No hat box.

Barnum. 2005 limited edition of 500, ours is numbered 76 / 500 on the base. Sculptures are approximately 5″ tall, and mounted on a 8 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ wooden display base. When Union Captain Henry C. Flint and 150 troopers from the 1st Vermont Cavalry attacked with sabers and bayonets, Mosby’s Rangers aggressively counterattacked on horseback employing Colt 44 caliber revolvers with deadly effect. The added firepower of the revolvers and the ferocity of the Confederate attack resulted in Union Casualties of 8 killed, 22 seriously wounded and 83 prisoners captured. As Mosby rode past, one Union trooper called out to him… “You have played a nice April Fool!”.

1966 Portfolio Photo NYC Proposed Twin Tower World Trade Center Balthazar Korab

wtcWe are delighted to be offering a group of striking & dramatic images from an architectural photography portfolio we just obtained.  Offered in 1966 by Irving Trust Company when they moved to their headquarters at One Wall Street, Manhattan.  They collected a fantastic group of professional art photographs depicting New York City architectural landmarks, and put them together in a limited edition portfolio commemorating the changes that occurred in Manhattan in the 1950’s & 1960’s. These are the ORIGINAL 1966 prints; not modern reproductions.

Each print is matted and ready to frame; excellent NEW condition. Each mat measures 12″ x 15″, image size is 9-1/2″ x 7-1/2″.

Pictured here is one of the most important of the portfolio, a Balthazar Korab black and white image of “The 110-Story Pinnacles of the proposed World Trade Center“.  Twin Towers opened in 1973; this print was made in 1966.
