As defined on WIKIPEDIA – Mid-Century modern is an architectural, interior and product design form that generally describes mid-20th century developments in modern design, architecture, and urban development from roughly 1933 to 1965. The term was coined in 1983 by Cara Greenberg for the title of her ground-breaking book, _Mid-Century Modern: Furniture of the 1950s_ (Random House), celebrating the style which is now recognized by scholars and museums worldwide as a significant design movement.
At connectibles we always keep our treasure hunting eyes open for MCM. Both of us were born and grew up in this time period and love finding things that were around our houses when we were children. Our children have also come to love household items from this era and use them for decorating their own houses.

This set does not appear to have ever been used, which is probably why the original glasses are all still together! Measures 9″ tall , ring is 14″ across. Glasses are 2″ and excellent, rich deep ruby red that is perfect for any holiday table!
