Pictured here is one of the most unusual and lovely pieces of antique Vaseline glass we have come across in years. Vaseline opalescent flower holder is identified in the book “Victorian Decorative Glass” by Gulliver, made in Stourbridge region of England by John Walsh in 1902.
Set includes 2 Art Nouveau type opalescent vases in the shape of a flower bud, set on a metal stand. Flowing lines of stand resemble a tree twig with leaves.Glass pieces are removable. Details below:
- Glass pieces are 4-1/2″ tall x 2″ wide and are in excellent condition.
- Metal stand is 7″ x 6″, gold painted.
- Very good condition other than one stem is broken off in the center and some of the paint has worn away.
- Beautiful, unusual and graceful piece.
