Mens Cowboy Western Hat STETSON 5X Beaver 7-3/8

I love this hat – if only it were not too small for me.  One of my favorite TV shows is “Justified” starring Timothy Olyphant” as Deputy U. S. Marshall, Raylan Giviens.  He looks so cool in this hat, that I just love it on him, and am sure if it fit me I would be as handsome.

So, my bad luck could be your good luck, because we are selling this hat along with a wonderful group of vintage Men and Women’s hats, fresh from a local collector. This is a vintage STETSON 5X Beaver Cowboy Western Hat from their retired DEE PICKETT signature line. Unworn excellent condition, in original box, size 7-3/8″ “long oval” marked on leather tag. Also marked “Standard Hat Works, Waco, Texas.  This hat features:

  • Natural Color, medium brown leather band.
  • HIGHEST quality Beaver.
  • 4″ brim, 5-1/2″ crown.
  • Box shows light wear.

Dee Picket was championship roper on professional rodeo circuit and the 1984 World Champion Cowboy.  Available at connectibles.

Antique 1886 Photo Souvenir Book NIAGARA FALLS – Wittemann / Glaser

We were lucky to find a wonderful Antique Souvenir Album book “Views of Niagara Falls”, published in 1886 by Adolph Wittemann, New York, using photo-views by Louis Glaser’s process.

The album is 4-3/4″ x 5-3/4″ with an Accordion fold with 12 photo-lithograph panels showing the American Falls, Horseshoe Fall, Suspension Bridge, Maid of the Mist, Prospect Park, Biddle’s Stairs, Goat Island, Great Western Railway bridge, Canada Southern Railway bridge, Whirlpool and more.

The Original decorative red paper covered boards stamped in gilt is in overall very good condition with some minor scuffs on edges and covers.  The photos are beautiful and in excellent condition.

This would make a wonderful addition to a sophisticated collection of photographs, books and memorabilia of Niagara Falls, New York and Canada.

Franklin Mint Bronze Flight of Remembrance Planes – Phantom Jets

Featured here is a beautiful Franklin Mint Limited Edition (678/9500) Bronze Sculpture “Flight of Remembrance” by the award-winning military and aviation artist James Dietz. The sculpture depicts four Phantom Jets flying in the “Missing Man Formation” in remembrance of a fallen hero. NEW condition in original packing box; no COA.

Details are:

  • The oval black marble base measures 8.5″ X 4.5″ and has a brass plaque on the bottom marked “Flight of Remembrance” by Jim Dietz, Vietnam Memorial Fund logo, Limited Edition Bronze, The Franklin Mint.
  • Measures 13″ X 17″ X 4.5″ and weighs about 5 pounds.
