Original costume concept sketch by Academy Award-winning designer ELOIS JENSSEN, who created so many of Lucille Ball’s signature looks. Gouache, pencil and ink on an approx 9″ x 14″ leaf of artist’s illustration paper that has been matted for protection with cellophane. Opens easily for re-framing.
Versatile dress was worn in various episodes of I LOVE LUCY between 1951-1957, including “Lucy has her eyes examined” #77, “Million Dollar Idea” #79, “Oil Wells” #84, and “The Black Wig “, #93.
ALSO includes a photo of Lucy in episode #93 wearing one of the versions.
